Former Dorchester parish property will provide affordable housing
January 2014 - Cardinal Sean P. O'Malley, outgoing Boston mayor Thomas M. Menino and Aaron Gornstein, state Undersecretary for Housing and Community Development, joined the Planning Office for Urban Affairs to celebrate the redevelopment of the former St.Kevin's Parish campus in Upham's Corner in Dorchester Dec. 30.

Former St. Kevin’s property to become apartments
January 2014 - Cardinal Sean O'Malley and public officials gathered Tuesday to break ground on the rehabilitation of the former St.Kevin's Parish in Dorchester. The $36.7 million redevelopment, led by the Boston Archdiocese's Planning Office for Urban Affairs as well as St. Mary's Center for Women and Children and Holy Family Parish, will offer 80 affordable housing units in Dorchester's Upham's Corner neighborhood.
Work to begin on St. Kevin’s project
January 2014 - Mayor Thomas Menino and officials from the Boston Archdiocese on Monday dug into the Columbia Road courtyard of the former St. Kevin's campus, breaking ground on a project aimed at providing 80 units of affordable housing in Uphams Corner.
