Archdiocesan Development to Feature 40 Apartments
May 2004 - Construction has started on the Riley House Apartments, a 40-unit elderly housing complex in Boston that is being developed by the Archdiocese of Boston's Planning Office for Urban Affairs.
The work begins
May 2004 - Boston Mayor Thomas Menino, Archbishop Sean O'Malley and Most Precious Blood pastor Peter Nolan participated in a groundbreaking ceremony for the Riley House Apartments Tuesday. The assisted living senior housing building will take the place of the Most Precious Blood convent.
Riley House construction to commence next week
May 2004 - Archbishop Sean O'Malley and Mayor Thomas Menino will be on hand on Maple Street this Tuesday at 11 a.m., for a ground breaking ceremony marking the start of construction of the Riley House, a 40-unit affordable elderly housing complex on the site of the former Most Precious Blood church convent.
