POUA Dedicates Harbor Place in Haverhill with Ribbon Cutting

POUA recently held a ribbon cutting in Haverhill for Harbor Place, which includes 80 units of mixed-income housing, a 5-story commercial building, a new public plaza, and a grand boardwalk that allows pedestrian access to the Merrimack River from the downtown for the first time in over 80 years. The commercial building houses HC Media, the University of Massachusetts Lowell, Pentucket Bank’s corporate headquarters, and office space for rent at the penthouse level. The Planning Office and its partner on Harbor Place, The Greater Haverhill Foundation, were joined by Cardinal Seán P. O’Malley O.F.M. Cap., Secretary Jay Ash of the Executive Office of Housing and Economic Development, Mayor James Fiorentini, and Brian S. Dempsey, Former Chair of House Committee on Ways and Means.
